Dear Diary,

I wanted to share to all of you about my wonderful discovery on Youtube. 

One day, I found myself wondering about mother nature. Then suddenly bees came across my mind. How does a bee became a queen? I look upon it on Youtube and guess what, queen bee were decided by the workers itself. The workers fed all of the larvae with royal jelly but they fed more of the royal jelly on the chosen larvae to become a queen. There are actually more queen larvae than we expected, just in case one of the larvae are dead or didn't hatch according to the schedule. If one of the queen larvae has hatched, the worker will kill the others so that they will only have one queen. There's time when the queens hatched at the same time and they have to go through a life or dead battle in order to take the throne.

Once the throne are settled down, queen bee's job is to mate with male bees. After that, the male bee will lose all their sperm and die on the fly. The queen bee done it with many male bees to collect enough sperm. Yup, all she did is laying egg throughout her life spans. The queen bee then return to their territory to fulfill her responsibility. Though it seems cool but if the queen bee couldn't do her job, the workers will cast her out or create a chaos to killed her and make a new queen. More like a nightmare than a fairy tale isn't? Well that's how the mother nature work.

After watching a few videos about bees, there was an ants colony videos appeared on my recommendation. It was a very pleasant videos about ants. I never thought I would be so interested towards ants after I've watched it. The way he narrated the videos of his ants, it was so nerve-wrecking and always an emotional ride for the viewers. Its kinda hard to admit that I even cried for the ants colony. Those interesting journey about ants' life is really an eye opening for me. Before this, whenever I sees ants, I'll squash it with my finger. But now, it's different. I imagined how a small creature have to survive in the humans' world by helping each other to seek for foods.

I really like the AntsCanada channel. He does not only shares about his experience on ant keeping but also shares valuable information and life lessons of the mother nature. I really recommend you guys to watched it. You can gain more knowledge out of his videos. You wont't regret it.

Dear Diary,

Don’t worry guys, I’m still alive. I used to love writing entries but the excitement of pushing down the keyboard seems to be dissipated. Perhaps my life is not as excited as it used to be? I don’t know. Sometimes I don’t even know who I am. It seems like what more important to me is achieving my goals that me myself doubted it, and didn’t care of having fun. It does put me under pressure.

Every week was always hectic. I’m kind of amazed on how do I cope with all the works load. It was never an easy task. There’s time I feel like giving up, but my love ones always support me in everything I do. I’m so grateful to have them in my life.

Anyway, that’ll be enough of a drama. Talk about drama, I’ve recently just made a Neflix account. Thanks to my roommate whom persuade me to make one. Later one night, I found myself finish all three movies. Heck yeah, I feel tired. As cliche as its sounds, I learn a lot from those movies.

The first movie was a good old ‘Maid in Manhattan’. I just love 2000s vibes. It makes me want to go back in time. What I learned is that, there’s always an opportunity for us despite what our background was. Next movie was the glamorous one, which is ‘Sex and the city’. Well of course I didn’t miss watching the ‘Sex and the city 2”. These two movies really taught people how the relationship works which is far from the fairy tale is. I’m not saying that fairy tale doesn’t exist, but it works different for each couple. I really enjoy it.

By watching these movie makes me want to write again. Sharing people about what I thought, how my every day’s life is, or even shares entertainment. Literally anything that makes me feels the excitement of writing entries again. I really miss this kind of thing. It clicks back something within me that has lost years ago. I’m glad that I spent my time watching those movies despite the panda eyes that I gained the next morning, it’s totally worth it.

Well I guess that’s enough for today. Now that I’m myself again, I will try to write as often as before.
